Within a circle, ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh / Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh / ḍarb / Sūrat sana 2 ilāhī / Āzar māh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Struck in Surat in year 2 of the Ilahi (i.e., divine) month of Azar’ in Arabic/Persian). Rev.
